Overview
Multi-Zone/Multi-Source Products The most flexible custom installations are
controlled from a centrally located A/V system rack usually found in remote
locations of the home or office. At the very least, this includes the ability
to select and distribute an audio source to any zone in the system and play
it back at a desired volume level. The best of these systems can distribute
several sources to multiple zones, at different volume levels, simultaneously.
Until recently most of these systems have been unaffordable to most. Russound
has created products that offer sophistication, fidelity and value, offering
a product for every budget.
Six Zone, Four Source Central
Controller/Amplifier (CA 6.4i)
Russound's CA6.4 is an integrated distribution amplifier
capable of playing up to four different sources independently to as many as
six rooms. Each zone amplifier is controlled from a simple and elegant keypad
and can select and operate one of four source components. The in-wall keypad's
LEDs provide visual confirmation of the selected source. A red LED confirms
an IR command from the hand-held remote. Using a source remote, the built-in
IR sensor allows total control of most products. Each keypad can control the
source input, room volume, on /off, and receive IR source commands. Source
components connect using standard RCA interconnects. There are four inputs
for your audio components. The IR emitter outputs allow the built-in IR receiver
to repeat the commands to your source components.

Essentially the same as the six zone system, but offering
four zoned outputs.
IR Controlled Keypad (CA-LCD)

CA-LCD IR Controlled Keypad LCD keypad is designed to operate with all new CA 6.4’s and CA 4.4pi systems. The 12V output of this keypad allows you to add the SRM-2.1 Speaker Relay Module which will allow you to use your local room stereo to share your speakers with the whole-house audio system.
