Wide variety and choice of stations Up to twice as many
stations are available in many areas as via FM. UK national radio services broadcast
digitally include BBC Radios 1-4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 5 Live Sports
Xtra, Classic FM, talkSPORT and Virgin Radio. In some areas as many as 50 digital
radio stations are available including local stations such as Heart 106.2, Jazz
FM, Capital Radio and unique-to-digital stations such as BBC 6 Music, Oneword,
Bloomberg and Ministry of Sound.

The digital audio broadcast (DAB) transmission standard provides high-quality,
interference-free digital audio without the hiss, crackle and fade that occurs
with traditional analogue FM/AM broadcasts. DAB receivers are virtually immune
to the interference and distortion that affects traditional FM receivers.
Easy to use
The easy-to-use one touch fast tune facility makes it a breeze to lock-on to
all available DAB stations, automatically selecting the strongest regional transmitter.
Gone are the days of tuning your radio by frequency, with EVOKE-1 you can now
search for stations by name and list them either alphabetically or by favourite/most
visited.
Great new features
The EVOKE-1 offers a host of great features not available in traditional AM/FM
radios, such as advanced user selectable station ordering, scrolling digital
text display showing date and time along with additional data supplied by the
broadcaster such as the song title, artist, programme description, news headlines
and much more.
High-performance
Three levels of Dynamic Range Control (DRC) enable you to adjust dynamic range,
useful when listening in a noisy environment or if your programmes have particularly
quiet parts. EVOKE-1 has a built-in reflex port for enhanced bass performance.
